Crock pot, then chili
My family is hugely enthusiastic about these roasts! Perhaps our favorite method of preparation is several hours in the crock pot, then clean off the little remaining fat, then rip the meat loosely into chunks and add it to an in-progress chili or other hearty stew. The flavor is unbeatable, and eating food with ingredients of such excellent quality just makes you feel good!

I rubbed a 3 pound chuck with oilive oil,salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Seared it in the oven at 450 for 15 min then slow roasted it at 250 for 4 hours. It was the best roast and I cook lots of beef. Buffalo tastes way better then beef. I like simple receipes with buffalo so not to ruin the buffalo flavor.I don't like game meat flavor like elk lor deer buffalo is not like that. Im hooked.

Highly recommended!!
I finally cooked one of my bison roasts. I used our slow cooker for the first time ever to cook the roast on 8 hours. It came out so tender and tasted GREAT!!
I highly recommend the bison roast.
